As a growing company deeply committed to responsible travel, we are looking for passionate and innovative minds to help us further develop and officially roll out our unique "Impact Tours" concept.

This internship offers a hands-on experience, whether physically based at our offices in Kampala, Uganda, or virtually, allowing you to contribute meaningfully to a company that believes travel can be a powerful force for good. Our Impact Tours are designed to connect conscious travelers with local projects, social enterprises, and visionary founders, creating journeys that not only explore the beauty of Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, and Rwanda but also foster positive change and investment in local communities.

Interns will be integral to this pioneering initiative, engaging in tasks that may include:

Market Research: Identifying potential impact projects, social enterprises, and community initiatives in East Africa that align with our sustainable tourism values.
Concept Development: Contributing to the refinement of "Impact Tour" itineraries, ensuring they offer unique experiences while maximizing positive social and environmental outcomes.
Partnership Outreach: Assisting in identifying and engaging with local founders and organizations for potential collaboration on impact tours.
Content Creation: Developing compelling narratives, visuals, and marketing materials for the "Impact Tours" concept, including website content, social media posts, and brochures.
Logistical Planning Support: Assisting with the operational aspects of pilot impact tours, ensuring seamless execution for both clients and local partners.
Impact Measurement: Contributing to frameworks for assessing and communicating the social and environmental impact of these specialized tours.
Cross-Cultural Communication: Engaging with diverse stakeholders, from local communities to international travelers.
This is a unique chance to gain practical experience in the dynamic tourism sector, particularly in the niche of sustainable and impact-driven travel. We are looking for self-starters with a keen interest in responsible tourism, social entrepreneurship, and a desire to make a tangible difference. Join Hutland Tours and Travel as we build towards our vision of being a leading sustainable travel company, and grow with us on this exciting journey!
