Your new company Hays is proud to have partnered with a leader in the AML consulting space for a 100% remote opportunity. Our client is seeking a dedicated AML analysts (Multiple openings) for a 6 month contract with the possibility of extension. Your new role Analysts will perform Know Your Customer Enhanced Due Diligence reviews for retail and institutional end customers and procedural work in support of digital assets client to meet and exceed regulatory expectations. Perform intermediate to complex risk analysis that requires knowledge of Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC) schemes. Apply logic, reasoning, and sound decision-making skills to provide appropriate recommends to the business. Ensure work adheres to defined engagement policies and procedures. Produce quality work within program standards. Manage work efficiently to meet production goals and project deliverables. Work collaboratively in a team environment. What you'll need to succeed At least high school diploma: college diploma preferred or specialized certifications (e.g., CAMS) At least 3 years conducting KYC/EDD/AML / BSA experience for large banking clients (either in a wealth management or institutional securities aspect). Preferred is working experience / prior background of AML/KYC/EDD related to large-scale institutional client types and their idiosyncrasies (referred to as ISG clients, such as hedge funds, private investment vehicles, retail aggregators, multinational banking clients, clients with complex ownership structures such as trusts, multiple LLCs, multiple beneficial owners and/or related parties) Ability to understand & synthesize AML/KYC policies, procedures and guidelines from various sources (internal bank policy portal, open sources such as SEC / OFAC websites) and apply requirements to enhanced due diligence analysis (risk identification, risk mitigations, overall risk conclusions and client suitability) Evidence of working in complex environment with regulatory deadline pressures Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities and ability to decipher high-risk attributes (transactional, geographical, product, customer type, etc.) What you'll get in return Unique culture Competitive pay rate What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.
