Warehouse Manager

JOB TITLE: Warehouse Manager AREA: Pomona, Kempton Park INDUSTRY: Electronic Recycling SALARY / CTC : R 12 000 – R 15 000 Report to: Directors Job Overview: As a Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of products. You will ensure efficient and effective utilisation of space, equipment, and manpower to achieve organisational goals and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality. Duties and responsibilities include the following but not limited to: Responsible for all receiving, storing, assembling, packing and/or unpacking of goods and pallets. Move, lift, carry, push, pull and place of objects in the warehouse. Loading and offloading of trucks using a forklift. Keep track of stock on hand of materials. Dispatching and receiving of stock and/or materials. Follow all workplace policies and safety guidelines. Must be able to meet targets. Attention to detail when doing stock control in the warehouse. Foster a positive work environment based on teamwork, open communication, and continuous improvement. Requirements: Good physical condition and ability to lift and move heavy objects if required. Must be a team participant. Must have attention to detail. Must reside in the East Rand Area. Must be a reliable person and trustworthy. Must have own vehicle to be able to commute to work. Must be punctual and keep to time. Computer literacy (Ms office and other systems where applicable) Experience and qualifications: Grade 12 (Matric) Must have at least 3 years’ experience as Warehouse Worker/Manager. Must have experience in operating a forklift. Must have clear criminal record.
