HR Manager, France

Fixed Term Contract (7 months) to cover Maternity leave based in Paris.

Role Summary:

The HR Manager, France will provide deep expertise, operational and locally relevant HR consultancy to senior and middle management in the designated business groups in France, with strong understanding of their business. As the primary HR contact within France, the HR Manager will participate in implementing bold and meaningful initiatives and projects aligned with LSEG Global strategy, objectives and policies enduring vision of building and engaging great place to work.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF ROLE
  • To partner with senior and middle management in the delivery of the HR cycle e.g., recruitment remuneration, talent management, training & development, change management, performance, leadership development and legal compliance.
  • Execution of the Performance Management process and support of our managers by ongoing coaching and training.
  • To promote constructive and social dialogue between the Senior Management of LSEG and its employees and their representatives based in France.
  • To ensure, together with Senior Management, information, consultation and negotiation with Works Council and Unions as relevant to allow LSEG to deliver its strategy in full compliance with local regulations.
  • To implement global People initiatives and closely partner with HR teams across the Group such as HRBP or Centre of Expertise.
  • To lead internal HR projects, partnering across multiple client groups in a matrix and moving environment
  • To design and deliver training supporting central HR initiatives and processes to managers and employees.
  • To manage, promote and monitor processes in our HR-System (Workday and ServiceNow)
  • To ensure HR team deliver against agreed KPIs and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
The ideal candidate will have the following skills, knowledge and experience:
  • Strong and proven knowledge and practice of key strategic HR topics such as organisational, culture & change management, talent/performance management and learning & development.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills; leadership capacity
  • Understanding the business and its strategic direction and making links to HR requirements
  • Proven ability to build, sustain and influence relationships at all levels of the organisation.
  • Ability to combine a focus on detail whilst keeping an eye on the 'bigger picture'.
  • Experience of designing and delivering training in an interactive and fun way
  • High degree of customer focus and intercultural competencies
  • Strong personal credibility to be a valued and trusted member of management teams and of the HR team
  • Strong ability to work in a virtual team with managers and HR peers.
  • Self-motivated and result-oriented
  • Bachelor's, Master's Degree or Diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, Legal or other related fields
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of significant professional work experience as HR Manager, HR Business Partner or comparable Human Resources function, ideally in an international environment
  • Strong in-depth knowledge and subject matter expertise in French employment law and employment relations.
  • Business fluent in French and English
  • Knowledge and experience with HR systems and well-versed in MS Office environment
The HR Manager, France will report to Raphaël Mimouni, West & Continental Europe Country People Partnering Director.
