Software Development Engineer - Java/Python

Key job responsibilities : You'll design and develop systems and applications used by supply chain operations across IN and emerging countries and you will regularly interact with engineering and business leadership. You will participate in the planning and execution of technology projects and operational excellence initiatives. You will be interfacing with various Business/Operations/Technology partners to create/enhance tech service setup activities meeting stringent SLAs. You will work closely with global tech teams and drive innovation and best practice adoption. You design, develop, troubleshoot, debug, evaluate, support and modify internal, end user tools/applications using the latest technology and programming languages with deep functional domain knowledge. The candidate will be working on improving the current technical services and also add newer features to existing systems. Primary responsibilities will include low level design, coding, unit testing the code, troubleshooting, diagnosing and fixing production software issues, developing monitoring solutions, performing software maintenance and configuration, implementing the fix for internally developed code, performing SQL queries, updating, tracking and resolving technical challenges. Basic Qualifications & Skills : Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field At least 2 years of non-internship professional software development experience Programming experience with at software programming language - Python and Java (Both) Experience using SQL Experience in AWS Serverless (Lambda, SQS, SNS, S3, Cloudwatch, etc) Good understanding of web design principles and best use of current web technologies and scalable dynamic user interfaces Obsession with quality, operational excellence, and customer experience Passion for solving complex problems, strong fundamentals in data structures & algorithm Strong verbal and written communication skills and an ability to work in a team environment Ability to write great, simple, clean, efficient, quality code with Unit/Integration test coverage Ability to design scalable, reliable, maintainable solutions with very high availability Preferred skills : Experience with AWS technologies. Strong object-oriented design and coding skills Experience programming with modern language such as Javascript/TypeScript, React, Node, C# Ability to take a project from scoping requirements through actual launch of the project Experience applying service-oriented architecture techniques to production use cases Experience building complex software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers Experience in building scalable solutions serving high TPS Experience with Git and Linux Ability to write Unit and integration test cases for codes written to maintain greater than 95% coverage.
