Mortgage Analyst

Job description CMSI Pacific is a Western Canada focused, full service commercial mortgage brokerage and advisory firm. We are currently looking for a mortgage underwriter / analyst to join our growing team in our downtown Vancouver office. About the role: · Supporting senior underwriters in the evaluation of mortgage financing opportunities. · Working alongside our team in creating and completing mortgage and investment presentations, brochures, underwriting models and financial analysis. · Analyzing and interpreting financial data and credit information, assessing value of security, assisting in underwriting commercial mortgage proformas. · Assisting in due diligence and closing procedures including reviewing leases, appraisals, environmental reports and legal documents. · Ongoing market research of the Western Canada area. · Preparing other documents as assigned such as client letters, confidential offering memorandums, lender summaries, etc. Requirements: · Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) from a four-year college or university in a business-related field. · Preferred 2 years’ relevant work experience. · You are advanced in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, Publisher, PowerPoint and Teams. · Professional with a high degree of confidentiality. · Sub-Mortgage broker license is an asset, or willingness to obtain · Passion for real estate / finance. · Organized, motivated and extremely detail oriented. · Reliable and team player. Schedule: Monday – Friday 8:30 AM – 5 PM Salary: Dependent on experience. Benefits. 2 weeks’ vacation, discretionary bonus.
