WAREHOUSE MANAGER (STEEL INDUSTRY)

RedCat Recruitment is seeking a suitably well-experienced WAREHOUSE MANAGER (STEEL INDUSTRY) for a large national concern, position based in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal. REQUIREMENTS Grade 12. Relevant qualification/s. Valid drivers license / own reliable vehicle. Strong computer skills (MS Office, Email / Internet). Syspro experience required. Relevant previous experience and knowledge in the steel and tube industry a strong advantage. 3yrs previous working experience in a similar position is required and the need to understand the Warehouse Management procedures (i.e. general warehouse management on stock control, delivery scheduling, staff management, health and safety). Strong staff management / leadership skills. Previous working experience in managing a warehouse is essential. Would only suit someone with a strong personality, be able to lead and manage a team effectively. Duties include direct receiving, warehousing and distribution operations; oversee the efficient receipt, storage, value-adding servicing and dispatch of a wide variety of products; ensure productivity targets are achieved and that all warehouse processes are running smoothly and promptly.
