AKS - Manager/Senior Manager - ReNova - Reinsurance Processing

Job Description : Our Client is a top Life Insurance Company headquartered at Mumbai. It became the first private life insurer to attain assets under management of `1 trillion. It is also the first insurance company in India to be listed on National Stock Exchange (NSE) and Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE). Key Responsibilities : - Managing reinsurance processing application ReNova. Main stake owners will be reinsurance, actuarial, underwriting, claims and finance. - Above to be managed with the help of internal team and outsource team of ReNova product vendor. - Facilitates daily stand-up, iteration planning, sprint review, and the iteration retrospective. - Manage the engineering development projects and facilitates sprint releases. - Create or analyze business requirements documents and project timelines. - Guides team in time estimating practices and facilitates team estimates. - Manage project conflicts, challenges, and dynamic business requirements to keep operations running at a high performance. - Work with the team leads to resolve people problems and project roadblocks. Educational Qualification / Experience : - Graduate with minimum 2 years of experience - Implement and support principles, rules, and processes. - Proactively identify and eliminate impediments and facilitate flow - Maintain team data in project management software (i.e. JIRA, etc.) to support estimates and execution. Knowledge & Skills : - Knowledge of SQL / Oracle database, ReNova software & reinsurance functionality is must - Person must have demonstrated his/her ability to take initiatives / displays independent and original thinking. - Sound domain knowledge and a keen observer of emerging trends into the worlds of Digital eco system - Be analytical in business approach. - Possess leadership quality (ref:hirist.tech)
