Job Description
The position serves as a Student Trainee (Public Affairs) in the DMA Pathways intern program and is concurrently enrolled at an accredited college/university for the purpose of completing the academic curriculum required for a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Public Affairs or a closely related field. The Intern program affords a student the opportunity to receive work experience which is directly related to the student's academic program and career goals.

Job Requirements
You may qualify at the GS-03, if you fulfill the following qualifications: GS-3 Level Qualifications: Successful completion of one academic year of post high school education. (One academic year of undergraduate education is defined as 30 semester hours, 45 quarter hours, or the equivalent in an accredited college or university). Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
