Job Description

Candidate Requirements: Must have Grade 12 and a culinary qualification Minimum 2-3 years experience in a Chef De Partie position (Safari Camp/5 Lodge/Reserve experience (essential) Must have a passion for the pastry department and experience in pastry Excellent culinary catering talent is a necessity (present preparation techniques) Must have a clear understanding of dietaries and nutrition Must have in-depth knowledge of hygiene practices and new products Must reference well and have an excellent food portfolio Highly organized and with great attention to detail Strong personality that can think on their feet and work under pressure Excellent verbal and written communication in English Must have a positive attitude and great interpersonal skills Must be able to work in a team and collaborate Excellent time management skills and great work ethic
