Job Description
Role : FPGA Design Lead (Avionics) Location : Bangalore Experience : 10-15 Years Must-Haves : - Hands-on experience with VHDL. - Experience with DO-254 DAL-C/D and other Avionics development processes and tools - Hands-on experience in working with Xilinx (AMD) and Altera (Intel) large FPGAs - Experience in at least one domain - Display interface / Video Processing / Control Algorithms - Expertise in FPGA PAR, Timing Closure for complex time critical designs - Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Communication, or related field. Job Description : - Lead a 10-member team of engineers in the design, development, and implementation of advanced avionics systems. - Utilize 10-15 years of post-engineering graduation experience in Electrical Engineering or Electronic Communication to provide technical leadership and guidance. - Demonstrate proficiency in VHDL, with additional expertise in Verilog and System Verilog being advantageous. - Employ knowledge and experience in DO-254 DAL-C/D and other avionics development processes and tools to ensure compliance and quality. - Execute FPGA Place and Route (PAR) and Timing Closure for complex, time-critical designs. - Hands-on experience working with large FPGAs from Xilinx (AMD) and Altera (Intel) is essential. - Possess a deep understanding of avionics standard interfaces to facilitate seamless integration within the broader system architecture. - Apply expertise in at least one specialized domain, such as Display Interface, Video Processing, or Control Algorithms. - Integrate Microcontrollers and Digital Signal Processing (DSP) blocks, enhancing system functionality and performance. Requirements : - Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Communication, or related field. Advanced degree preferred. - 10 - 15 years of progressive experience in Electrical Engineering post-graduation. - Proven ability to lead and mentor multidisciplinary engineering teams. - Extensive hands-on experience with VHDL; familiarity with Verilog and System Verilog. - Thorough understanding and application of DO-254 DAL-C/D standards and avionics development processes. - Expertise in FPGA Place and Route (PAR) and Timing Closure for complex designs. - Proficiency in working with Xilinx (AMD) and Altera (Intel) large FPGAs. - Familiarity with avionics standard interfaces and protocols. - Experience in at least one specialized domain such as Display Interface, Video Processing, or Control Algorithms. - Strong aptitude for integrating Microcontrollers and DSP blocks into avionics systems.
