Embedded Firmware Engineer - C++

About the Role: We are seeking a motivated and results-oriented Embedded Firmware Engineer to join our growing team. In this exciting role, you will play a key part in designing, developing, testing, and debugging firmware for our embedded systems using C++. You will work closely with hardware engineers and other developers to create robust and efficient firmware solutions that meet our performance and reliability requirements. Responsibilities : Embedded Systems Development : - Experience in developing embedded firmware using C++ for microcontrollers and embedded processors. - Strong understanding of embedded systems architecture, including memory management, interrupts, and device drivers. - Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS) is a plus (familiarity is beneficial). C++ Programming : - Proven ability to write clean, efficient, and maintainable C++ code. - Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts and best practices. - Experience with debugging techniques for embedded systems. Hardware Interaction : - Familiarity with interfacing C++ code with various hardware components (e.g., sensors, actuators, communication peripherals). - Understanding of low-level programming concepts and hardware registers (beneficial). Additional Skills : - Experience with version control systems (Git) is essential. - Familiarity with embedded system development tools (e.g., debuggers, emulators) is a plus. - Understanding of basic electronics concepts is a plus. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with engineers and other team members. Experience Levels : - We are seeking candidates with experience ranging from 2 to 8 years. - We are happy to consider recent graduates with a strong foundation in C++ and embedded systems concepts, as well as experienced engineers looking for a new challenge.
