Wordpress Developer At Reubro Intertional, we're building human-focused technology solutions that capture efficiency, performance, and user-friendly designs. We're seeking WordPress developer to develop applications and build thoughtful experiences cantered around our customers. During a typical day, you'll be working alongside our web team to determine customer needs, brainstorm solutions, generate website mockups and prototypes, present these prototypes to customers, and both develop and optimize live platforms. We're looking for someone who is quick on their feet, possesses strong technical skills, and isn't afraid to ask questions. An understanding of not just how to code but why certain code works is a must. Job Description : - We are seeking a WordPress Developer responsible for both back-end and front-end development, including creating WordPress themes and plugins. - This position requires a combination of programming skills (namely PHP, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript) and aesthetics (understanding element arrangements on the screen, the color and font choices, and so on). - The candidate should have a strong understanding of industry trends and content management systems. - Experience with the responsive and adaptive design is strongly preferred. Also, an understanding of the entire web development process, including design, development, and deployment is preferred. Skills and Qualifications : - Good understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery - Experience building user interfaces for websites and/or web applications - Experience designing and developing responsive design websites - Comfortable working with debugging tools like Firebug, Chrome inspector, etc. - Ability to understand CSS changes and their ramifications to ensure consistent style across platforms and browsers - Ability to convert comprehensive layout and wireframes into working HTML pages - Knowledge of how to interact with RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML) - Proficient understanding of code versioning tools {{such as Git, SVN, and Mercurial}} - Strong understanding of PHP back-end development - Knowledge in laravel framework will be an added advantage. - The website should showcase client organization projects in the best possible light to show to the populate the investment and efforts being put by the Government to provide social housing to citizens. - The websites should therefore be visually appealing, easy to navigate, and informative. Additional fundamental requirements : - Performance : The website should load quickly and respond to user input promptly. - Usability : The website should be easy to navigate and use, even for users with limited technical experience. - Reliability : The website should be available 24/7 and should be able to handle large numbers of concurrent users. - Security : The website should be secure from unauthorized access and data breaches. - Maintainability : The website should be easy to maintain and update. - Portability : The website should be able to be deployed on different hardware and software platforms. - Responsive : The website should be able to display on mobile devices. - Languages : The web site should be available in French and English.
