Role : Data Governance Engineer Location : Noida Exp : 4 - 8 Years Notice : IMD-15days (max) Job Description : OvalEdge Data Governance Engineer will be responsible for ensuring that an organization's data assets are properly managed, stored, secured, and used in compliance with legal and ethical standards. The tasks include developing and implementing data governance policies, establishing data quality standards and processes, managing data access and security, and monitoring and reporting on data usage and compliance. Technical Skills : - Lead the technical implementation of data governance policies and procedures. - Strong technical expertise in data management, data quality, data lineage, data glossary, data classification and data security. - Work closely with data stewards, data owners, and IT teams to align technical solutions with governance objectives. - Develop and implement data quality frameworks and standards. - Execute and automate data quality checks, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of organizational data. - Monitor and assess data security risks, implementing corrective measures as needed. - Collaborate with data custodians to implement security measures for data protection. - Administer and configure data governance tools and platforms. - Define Data Stewardship SOP and Data Governance policy based on best practices. - Document technical aspects of data governance policies and procedures. Qualifications : - Graduate, preference for degree in Computer Science (MCA/BS/BE) with industry recognized certifications - Strong technical expertise in database management, data quality tools, and metadata management. - Proven experience in implementing and managing data governance initiatives. - Experience with OvalEdge data governance solutions. - Knowledge of cloud-based data governance solutions. - Strong customer service orientation ability to connect with global customers and work with Global teams.
