EduFund - Technical Lead - MERN Stack

In this role, you will be working closely with the founders, head of product, and existing tech lead to build, scale, and managing EduFund's products. This is an exciting role for someone who wants autonomy, and hyper growth. Responsibilities : - Lead and manage our engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, product, and marketing, to align engineering efforts with business goals. - Provide technical guidance and leadership in all aspects of software development, from design to deployment. - Drive the development and implementation of our MERN-based applications, ensuring they meet quality, scalability, and security standards. - Oversee and contribute to the development and maintenance of both web and mobile applications. - Lead the adoption of DevOps best practices to streamline development and deployment processes. - Maintain a strong focus on security, ensuring that our products are protected from potential vulnerabilities. - Implement and oversee Agile development practices, particularly SCRUM, and ensure project management best practices are followed. Requirements : - 7-10 years of experience in software engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management role. - Strong technical background, with expertise in the MERN stack and full-stack development. - Proven experience in scaling products to accommodate high user demand. - Solid understanding of DevOps principles and practices. - Deep knowledge of security best practices in software development. - Experience working with SCRUM and Agile methodologies. - Exceptional project management skills, including the ability to prioritize, plan, and execute complex projects. - Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and lead a high-performing engineering team. - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
