Internship - BackEnd Developer H/F

Transatel, a leading company in wireless communication, is embarking on an exciting project to enhance our network management capabilities. We are integrating multiple Nodes from diverse vendors to support a wide range of wireless services. This initiative requires the development and integration of a sophisticated Network Management System (NMS) to ensure seamless operation and management of these Nodes.

Internship overview

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Backend Developer Intern to join our team. This role is pivotal in developing a mediation component that acts as a conduit between the Nodes and the NMS, ensuring efficient communication and management of network resources.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in the development and integration of the mediation component between our NMS and other nodes vendors.

• Collaborate with the team to design and implement solutions using Java (knowledge of other programming languages is also welcome).

• Engage in the entire software development lifecycle, from concept to deployment.

What you will learn

• Kafka: A high-throughput, distributed messaging system.

• SNMP (Simple Network Management Protocol): A standard protocol for network management.

• REST APIs: Architectural style for designing networked applications.

• Java: A widely-used programming language, particularly for client-server web applications.

What we are looking for

• Must-Have: Proficiency in Backend development, with a strong preference for Java (Spring Boot). Candidates should also have previous experience in implementing RESTful services, WebSocket communication, or Kafka integration within a Java application. Applicants with expertise in other programming languages are also welcome to apply.

• Nice-to-Have: A foundational understanding of telecommunications, wireless networks, and IP.
