Intermediate PHP Developer

Job Responsibilities: In addition to daily coding activities, you will: Provide technical leadership to junior team members Demonstrate a strong understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and best practices Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend their integration Collaborate with other development team members to ensure successful project delivery Monitor and implement changes in Support Tickets Execute Daily Automated Client Data Import Jobs Attend scheduled meetings Provide support to the Development Manager, Senior Team Lead, and External Clients Offer general support to fellow co-workers Qualifications & Experience: Grade 12 certificate or equivalent Level 4 qualification issued by SAQA Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or Diploma in Information Technology Clear criminal and ITC record 5-6 years of working experience Proficiency in PHP, OOP, MVC, MS-SQL, JavaScript, jQuery, JSON, HTML, CSS, XHTML, AJAX, C# Knowledge/Experience in MySQL, PostGres, GIT Experience in Laravel, .NET, or Yii frameworks (advantageous) Experience in Python (advantageous) Experience in using debugging software (advantageous) Technical Skills: Expert knowledge of software development languages Expert knowledge of software design methods and techniques Experience with object-oriented programming Front-end development expertise, including jQuery Understanding of Ajax Experience in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to delivery If you are a skilled and motivated PHP Developer seeking a challenging opportunity, we invite you to apply.
