Become part of our team now The Berlin Police, the State Office of Criminal Investigation 4, is looking for a permanent position as soon as possible for a IT systems technology clerk (f/m/d) Reference number: 2-049-24 Pay grade: EG 11 TV-L Full-time with 39.4 hours per week (part-time employment may be possible) Place of employment: Tempelhofer Damm 12, 12101 Berlin These are some of the tasks you can expect: Analyzing evaluation and investigation complexes with regard to practicable IT deployment options, Analyzing the required system software and hardware basis, Designing the hardware and software equipment and their types of use, Observing, researching and evaluating the IT market, Installation, maintenance and replacement of hardware, Evaluation of error analyses for the purpose of future prevention and to ensure work quality and product optimization with the involvement of the user areas and the official IT departments, Ensuring that the IT technology assigned to the department is always operational Design, implementation and integration of IT processes, Supporting users in the evidence-proof execution of data backups by providing storage media, Planning networks, taking into account servers, data terminals, peripherals, user profiles, data security, network security and data backup, Planning and developing databases, Cooperation and regular exchange of experience with departments in similar subject areas within the Berlin Police Department Implementation and development of training measures for IT users You have: a Bachelor's degree in computer science or a comparable degree (e.g. administrative informatics, business informatics) and relevant specialist knowledge as well as practical experience or proven comparable professional experience and relevant specialist knowledge. Your know-how: Good communication skills and service orientation, good administrative and organizational skills, Experience in dealing with evaluation options (on the Internet), extensive and proven knowledge of common operating systems, such as Microsoft Windows, Linux and MAC, application programs, such as Microsoft Office, network technology, Internet technology, digital communication technology, Extensive knowledge in the development, operation and support of IT systems good knowledge of network architectures, mobile technology and attack methods on computers and networks and the available analysis options, good knowledge of a common programming language (e.g. Powershell, VBScript), Good technical knowledge of English, good knowledge of IT baseline protection, data protection and GDPR. A high degree of independence, sense of responsibility, flexibility, ability to work under pressure, ability to concentrate, ability to work in a team and commitment are required. Special features: The fulfillment of the area of responsibility requires above-average resilience and stress resistance due to the high relevance of IT and the regularly associated urgency in providing the required IT processes and hardware. The area of responsibility is based on the operational activities of the department, which is why a willingness to work on demand-adjusted duty hours and, if necessary, overtime is desirable.
