For more information, visit www.josephbranthospital.ca. Qualifications: Medical Laboratory Technologist with current CMLTO registration required. Recent experience in a Core Laboratory setting required. Strong working knowledge of Clinical Chemistry, Hematology, and Transfusion Medicine required. Ability to perform testing, calibration, quality control and maintenance procedures on reagents and equipment including troubleshooting, in accordance with departmental policies, procedures and standards. Preference will be given to candidates with recent related continuing education or equivalent. Meditech Client Server LIS experience an asset. Basic computer knowledge including keyboarding skill and an ability to work in MS Windows based environment. Good knowledge of hospital and laboratory safety and compliance. Good problem solving, analytical, organizational, and continuous improvement skills. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Must be able to work independently and in a team environment. Ability to react to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned.
