Maintenance Assistant

A leading agriculture company is searching for a Maintenance Assistant to join their team in the Western Cape. You should have grade 12, a N3 Millwright or Fitter and Turner and at least 2 years working in a production facility or pack house. You should have excellent knowledge of the electrical and mechanical workings of machinery and equipment. Additionally, this role involves nightshift during season as well as a willingness to be on standby and work overtime when needed. You will be responsible for performing regular maintenance inspections and repairing any and all breakdowns. You should be ready to assist with planning and executing planned and preventative maintenance and be able to disassemble and replace machinery and parts as needed.
