Job Description
To take responsibility for ensuring that the company's stock levels meet business needs. To oversee purchases and pricing reports, replenishing levels when necessary, and monitoring shipments or internal transfers between departments or locations within the business. Responsibilities: Stock Management Distribution of ALL PLS stock (GEO/T4/RF/Dunnage Bags/Probes) to transporters, cold stores and our client's DBN/PE offices based off requests received (internally and externally), stock sheet updated and future date of GEO's where necessary Reconciling of delivery notes Acknowledgement letters and courier waybills Recon and stock count at all locations, via email/whatsapp/physical Weekly stock recon for ALL PLS stock from all parties involved Monthly Stock recon for ALL PLS stock allocated/unallocated and report to Ops and Finance Manager Stock variances and follow ups to all parties involved Adhoc, double loads of temptales or incorrect temptales to be recorded on the stock sheet and added to the finance sheet for invoicing Performing other basic admin duties Operational Assist the TempCheck team on basic daily tasks Blank container and serial numbers Tick List Sensi Aerts Port, Depot and PPECB monitoring PPECB Monitoring Arrived at Final Destinations with and without attachments PO Files and Transporter mails to update temptales utilized which is vital to the stock recon Assist on weekends with PO Files and Transporter mails and basic TempCheck tasks Key Skills: Ability to identify the needs in the team and assist where needed. To have working knowledge of Google / Excel / Word. Ability to work under pressure and meet daily, weekly and monthly deadlines. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to manage and prioritise workload. Attention to detail and accuracy. Fast learner in internal and external computer systems and processes. Ability to work with multiple key stakeholders both internal and external in dynamic logistics environment. Qualifications: Grade 12 (Essential). Diploma in Shipping, Clearing and Freight Forwarding, Distribution and Logistics Business Management or related field (Desirable). A minimum of 2-years administrative experience. Previous experience in administering stock (Advantageous)After hour availability is essential.
