As the visitation screener, you’ll serve as the primary point of contact for individuals entering and exiting our Inglewood community. Your duties encompass verifying essential attendance, enforcing COVID-19 entrance restrictions, communicating visitor limits to ensure resident and team safety, and managing administrative responsibilities. Requirements Completed Grade 12 A minimum of one year of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience is required. An understanding of the healthcare environment is an asset About The Role Position Type: Temporary Full Time Expected end date of September 30, 2024 Hours: 1200 – 20:00 Monday - Friday As a Visitation Screener, you will warmly greet and engage with individuals entering our community, ensuring the necessity of their visit and conveying visitor restrictions to safeguard the well-being of residents, families, and team members. You'll cultivate positive and collaborative relationships with residents, team members, families, and partners while overseeing access and departure at the front entrance. You screen all visitors, including essential personnel like team members and contractors. Moreover, you will coordinate resident visits in line with established protocols and monitor interactions to uphold safety standards. Additionally, you'll manage administrative duties such as organizing forms and documents and maintaining cleanliness in communal areas. Located on Taylor Way and Inglewood Avenue, our Inglewood community boasts proximity to Ambleside Park, Capilano Park, and Capilano River Regional Park. About You Your outstanding interpersonal skills and enjoyment of collaborative work are evident. You enhance Baptist Housing's image and reputation in every interaction. You easily cultivate professional relationships with team members, residents, and guests, ensuring all visitors feel valued and respected. You are clear and concise in your communication, both verbally and in writing, and proficient in multitasking, time management, and organization. As a dynamic team player, you excel in both independent and collaborative environments, with proficiency in office equipment operation and maintenance. Compensation & Benefits A caring and supportive work environment with a compensation rate of $23.83/hr.
