Organize is an online community for people to document, discuss, and utilize information on police activity. Our mission is for people to have access to a robust database which helps them understand how law enforcement impact communities, and you will be a big part of building it! We need some talented unpaid contributors to join our team and write stories for our website (organizeapp.org) which document police behavior. You will investigate and report on cases of police misconduct and share them onto organizeapp.org. The content you share to our website will be stored in our global database which has been used by over 20,000 activists to hold police officers accountable for their misbehavior.
Organize is a nonprofit company and you will get to play a big role in building one of the most impactful philanthropic efforts of all time.
Must be familiar with journalistic requirements like Research, Sourcing, Grammar, Integrity
Must be able to write clearly and concisely while also being descriptive.
Must be able to contribute stories on a consistent basis (roughly 5-10 stories per week depending on length/depth)
Must be familiar with the basics of social media & content marketing
