Meet The Happy Entrepreneur. Our highly anticipated podcast, where we’ll explore just that. In this internship, you'll be doing real hands-on work crafting a movement to change how people work. You won’t just push episodes, but rather, you’ll change the world with us.

This internship isn’t for the faint of heart, but you were never the type to back down from a challenge, were you?


During your time with us, you’ll take full responsibility for crafting a hit podcast from the ground up. You’ll research, then craft plan for getting thousands of downloads with lightning speed, pitch the plan to our team, and implement the plan — no Starbucks runs required.

You’ll take courses on podcast production so you can be armed with all the latest information. You’ll receive raw recorded podcast files from us and work with our audio editor to perfect the episode.You’ll create teaser snippets for social media and show notes with all necessary links and references. You’ll manage the full distribution, syndication, and release of each episode — with the goal of getting us a hundreds of thousands of downloads.

And you’ll have the opportunity to learn how to do all this in the most cost efficient way possible through Bonnie’s signature method of international hiring --- which means that if you ever want to start your own podcast, you’ll know how to do it for a fraction of what others charge.

After this resume builder of an internship is said and done, you’ll be able to walk into that major podcasting company for a job interview and wow them with what you’ve created, or take everything you’ve taught yourself and launch your own hit podcast!

WHO ARE WE?

We're an online publishing company aiming to help overworked and stressed-out entrepreneurs take back their lives and fall in love with their businesses again. The primary way we do that is through our flagship product, Source it!, which Forbes calls "the world's premier education in online hiring and outsourcing for entrepreneurs." It also went to a multi-six figure level within our first six months of launching — no big deal.

To continue helping our audience, we're launching a new podcast — and we need a team to deliver our message to the world.

On "The Happy Entrepreneur" podcast, our CEO Bonnie Fahy will teach entrepreneurs not only how to have the best business possible, but how to truly enjoy their lives along the way through positive psychology and personal development. We believe that when people invest in their self-transformation and happiness, they can heal relationships, community, and the world.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

You’ll manage our content calendar (http://bit.ly/happycontentcalendar) and help ensure our editorial interns are on track for producing timely content
Create the podcast process from beginning to end and oversee every step along the way.
Work with our business development and social media interns for collaborations, insight, and planning.
Always knowing what’s going on and be flexible and resourceful enough to create a new game plan when something doesn’t go as planned.
Listen to each episode for quality control and direct changes as needed.
Handle the podcast equipment, creation, and distribution.
Document all processes.
Assist hosts as needed in preparation for the podcast.
Conduct research and fact-check the podcast.
Launch the happy entrepreneur podcast.

THIS JOB IS PROBABLY NOT FOR YOU IF:

You don't have at least 15-20 hours a week to dedicate to the position.
You struggle with time management, and projects sometimes take you significantly longer than you thought they would.
You've never listened to a podcast.
You have trouble speaking your mind when conflict comes up — or you speak your mind too harshly.
You're enthusiastic about starting new projects, but you're not as great at finishing them.
"Deadline" feels like a scary word.
You're just doing this for college credit.

TERMS:

Remote or in-person: You can work remotely or come into our beautiful coworking New York office, meet and collaborate and build this intern community.
Pay: This is an unpaid, educational position.
Education: You’re most likely a media, business, or marketing major.
Amount of hours: A flexible schedule of 15-20 hours a week.
