About the Role We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Associate Director, Product Management. As part of the Future Students and Marketing portfolio you will lead the strategic direction of our newly established product management portfolio, ensuring that effort to drive growth and impact is prioritised and delivered. In this pivotal role, you’ll drive innovation and market responsiveness to meet the evolving needs of domestic and international students while supporting growth objectives. You’ll shape and optimise product marketing and recruitment strategies that enhance performance from acquisition through to admission and enrolment, ensuring Swinburne remains competitive and drives growth in key markets. As a senior leader, you’ll champion the voice of the customer and foster a high-performance culture. Working closely with Future Students, Marketing, academic schools and business units, you’ll inform strategic product roadmaps, lead go-to-market strategies and integrate market insights and analytics to deliver differentiated offerings, driving execution from the team from the point of ideation through to delivery. Success in this role requires deep expertise in the Higher Education sector, strong strategic and analytical skills, and the ability to build collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders. About You To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities: • Develop and implement a comprehensive product portfolio marketing and recruitment strategy to align offerings with market demand, business goals, and long-term growth objectives. • Identify, discover and recommend opportunities for new or better ways to promote products within the portfolio, to build reputation and drive student demand from awareness to acquisition and enrolment. • Create and sustain clearly differentiated product and/or discipline propositions which inform messages to take to market. • Champion cohorts’ experiences and work cross-functionally to effect change and improve prospective student experience from awareness, through to acquisition and enrolment. • Anticipate emerging market opportunities, lead product discovery, validation, and market opportunity assessment to create a sustainable pipeline of high-impact products. • Lead and develop a high-performing, tactical creative function to deliver market-fit, product led content that supports Swinburne’s go to market and brand strategies. • Lead a high-performing product management team by setting the strategic direction, coaching for excellence, enabling professional growth, and fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability. Qualifications • Postgraduate qualifications in Marketing, communications or related fields with subsequent extensive relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training and extensive relevant experience • Proven expertise in the management of significant human and material/financial resources.
