Pay Information $2,116 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Intensive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (7 PM - 7:30 AM) Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recent acute care experience in ICU License: Current nursing license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - Proven ability to manage arterial lines - Experience in assisting with BiPAP and CPAP management - Skilled in the care of ventilated patients - Knowledge of central line care and management - Ability to provide continuous IV sedation - Proficient in interpreting arterial blood gases (ABGs) - Experience in managing dysrhythmias - Familiarity with isolation precautions and PPE - Competence in managing patients with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure - Experience in suctioning (ETT, NT) - Ability to titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips - Proficient in ventilator management and computerized documentation Description: This position is for a Registered Nurse specializing in the Intensive Care Unit. The nurse will work a night shift comprising three 12-hour shifts each week. Weekend work is required every other weekend, totaling two weekends per month. Requested time off is limited to a maximum of five days, with no more than two consecutive days off. No time off is permitted on holidays or the day before and after holidays. This role includes mandatory floating to various ICU units as needed. ICU nurses may be required to float to medical-surgical units if further staffing support is necessary. Orientation will take place in the day shift for the first week, including precepting. Candidates must provide proof of required vaccinations prior to the start date.
