Team Manager – Learning Disabilities

As a Team Manager at Peabody, you’ll guide a team of dedicated support workers to deliver high-quality, personalised services that help our customers live independently, safely, and with dignity. What you’ll do Lead, supervise, and motivate a team of support workers Provide regular supervision and model best practice in complex cases Oversee assessments, support plans, and reviews to ensure quality care Maintain accurate records and monitor performance using digital systems Work with external agencies to assess referrals and prioritise support Build strong relationships with local services and professionals Promote independence, wellbeing, and inclusion for all customers Manage safeguarding and risk concerns with confidence and care Champion self-advocacy and customer empowerment Lead team meetings and contribute to training and development What you’ll need Experience of providing care support Strong leadership and team management skills Availability to work unsocial hours i.e. evenings, nights, weekends and public holidays Willingness and ability to travel Confidence in assessing needs and managing risks Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities IT skills and attention to detail for record-keeping A positive, energetic, and empathetic approach Commitment to equality, inclusion, and customer service A full UK driving licence and access to your own car A satisfactory Enhanced DBS check (Peabody pays for this) Why join us?
