Job Description Job Description Job Title: Intern Job Summary: The role of an Intern is to provide departmental support, including office duties and specific tasks, as assigned. An intern will train and work in all areas of the assigned or chosen department and gain knowledge of overall operations. Supervisory Responsibilities: None. Duties/Responsibilities: Communicate daily with customers, drivers, carriers, vendors, and inner office team members. Perform basic word processing or typing. Assist with daily office operations. Performs other related duties as assigned. Required Skills/Abilities: Excellent time management, critical, and interpersonal skills. Excellent customer service, problem solving and troubleshooting skills. A growth mindset and passion for learning about our business. (Lifelong Learning) Determination to succeed. (Own It) Desire and ability to bring new and fresh ideas to the organization. (Legacy) Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required. Must be currently enrolled in a higher education program. Degree of study in a related field a plus. Previous office experience preferred. Knowledge of the trucking industry a plus. Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.
