Day Shift Maintenance Fitter

Staffline Recruitment are working in partnership with a large global manufacturing company based in Mallusk, Newtownabbey who are seeking an experienced Maintenance Fitter to join their team on a permanent basis Salary: £34k Working hours: Monday to Thursday 7.00am to 3.30pm and Friday 7.00am to 2.30pm or Monday to Thursday 7.30am to 4.00pm and Friday 7.30am to 3.00pm or Monday to Thursday 8.00am to 4.30pm and Friday 8.00am to 3.30pm Essential Criteria Must have time served recognised engineering apprenticeship. Minimum of 5 years' maintenance experience, within the last 10 years. Be able to demonstrate an ability to work on your own initiative with minimum supervision. Must have machining, milling and turning experience within a manufacturing environment. Must have experience of TIG/MIG/Oxy welding Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics. Job Role To carry out all routine preventative maintenance requirements on injection moulding machines, pneumatic & hydraulic systems, material recycling and regrinding equipment. Repairs to granulators, extruders, water heaters, conveyor machinery in the event of a breakdown. Operating milling machines and lathes. Carrying out all aspects of welding - TIG/MIG/MAG. Maintain air leaks and production machine filters, clean/oil as required. To supply all necessary information with regards to spare parts. Communicate, either in written or verbal form, information as required. Maintain your work areas to company 5S standards. Assist with the general factory maintenance as required. Maintain your working area around the machines/equipment.
