Job Description

A confidential automotive manufacturing company is seeking a Human Resources Manager in San Luis Potosí, Mexico . The Human Resource Manager is responsible for ensuring that the overall administration, coordination, and evaluation of human resources plans, policies, processes and programs are realized and are compliant with current legislation and company objectives. Responsibilities Responsible for all human resources activities including employee relations, performance management program, training and development program, labour management, legal and legislative compliance, HRIS development and accurate recordkeeping Lead and promote a culture of Health & Safety across the organization, ensuring compliance with established procedures and regulations. Establish and implement Health & Safety objectives and strategies that align with the company’s fiscal, strategic, and regulatory requirements. Oversee Health & Safety investigations, ensuring thorough reporting, timely completion, and accurate hazard assessments. Provide review and advice on company policies, procedures and documents Lead the development and implement continuous improvements to human resources systems, policies and procedures and assist with the company’s continuous improvement initiatives as applicable to Human Resources Develop and oversee an effective performance management system including performance discussion and evaluations Oversee compensation and benefits programs, ensuring competitiveness and compliance with regulations. Process employee payroll and maintain an accurate HRIS Monitor employee morale and recommending processes, policies and programs to management to maintain / build a healthy organizational culture Oversee the full recruitment life cycle Investigate human resource related issues and make recommendations to resolve matters Develop and maintain various training programs for all employees Produce, analyze, and summarize various human related reports Other human resources related tasks, as required Requirements Graduate degree or certificate in Human Resource Management from an accredited University or College 5 years of experience in a fast-paced HR department, preferably in a leadership role Fluent in Spanish and English Knowledge of key principles and procedures for personnel recruitment, selection, training, compensation and benefits, and policy and procedure writing and development Knowledge and understanding of industrial Health & Safety Ability to effectively communicate with all levels within the organization (executive, management, supervisors and workers) Excellent organizational and time management skills Knowledge of Employment Legislation Excellent computer knowledge Ability to work independently within specific timelines
