Travel Radiology Tech in White Plains, NY

Shift: Night - 8x5 - 04PM Description: Perform routine and special radiographic procedures, ensuring proper positioning and patient safety. Assist physicians during procedures and provide clinical instructions to students. Process images, maintain PACS/RIS systems, and document appropriately. Maintain equipment, perform QA/calibration, and order supplies as needed. Educate and communicate with patients/families regarding exams. Participate in on-call, overtime, holidays, and shift coverage as needed to ensure safe operations. Ensure compliance with hospital standards, radiation safety guidelines (ACR Image Wisely/Gently), and regulatory requirements. Provide professional, courteous service and uphold hospital behavioral standards. Experience: Graduate of accredited radiography program; prior hospital or ambulatory imaging experience preferred License: NY State DOH Licensure or Limited Permit required Certifications: ARRT(R) required; DOH IV certification preferred; BLS (AHA) required within 90 days Must-Have: Strong imaging skills across patient populations (neonate to geriatric), ability to travel between White Plains, Yonkers, and Hawthorne ambulatory practices
