Role Summary Awakn is seeking a motivated Data Analyst Intern based in Swansea for a fully remote, part-time internship. Over a two-month period, you will gain hands-on experience working with real datasets, supporting live analytics projects, and learning from experienced data professionals. This internship is ideal for individuals looking to build a strong foundation in data analysis and AI-supported decision-making. Key Responsibilities Collect, clean, and prepare datasets for analysis. Perform exploratory and statistical analysis using Excel, SQL, and Python. Assist in creating dashboards and data visualisations for internal and client use. Identify data trends, patterns, and insights to support decision-making. Collaborate with consultants on analytics and automation initiatives. Document findings and contribute to project reports. Required Qualifications Currently studying or recently graduated in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, or similar. Strong proficiency in Excel; basic working knowledge of SQL or Python. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. High attention to detail and ability to work independently in a remote setting. Preferred Skills Familiarity with BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau. Experience with data visualisation or academic analytics projects. Understanding of basic statistics or data modelling concepts. Benefits and Perks Compensation: £15 per hour. 20 hours per week, Monday–Friday. 2-month internship, fully remote (Swansea-based candidates preferred). Flexible working hours.
