Dedicated Learning Support Assistant (LSA) | EHCP Specialist | Blackpool & Fylde Coast Are you ready to make a significant difference to the lives of primary school students with Special Educational Needs (SEND)? Tradewind Recruitment is seeking passionate and adaptable Learning Support Assistants (LSA) to provide essential ad-hoc and specialist support across our network of primary schools within the Blackpool and Fylde Coast area. This is a crucial, high-impact role offering flexibility and a clear path for professional growth. The Role: You will be instrumental in ensuring students with an Education, Health, and Care Plan (EHCP) have the targeted support they need to succeed. Your daily focus will include: Targeted Interventions: Delivering personalised academic and behavioural support to help students meet their learning objectives. Emotional & Mental Health Support: Helping students with emotional regulation and promoting positive mental well-being within the classroom. Relationship Building: Establishing positive, trusting relationships with students, staff, and parents to create a supportive learning environment. This position offers a unique chance to gain broad, diverse experience by working across various school settings (Primary and occasionally Secondary), expanding both your professional network and expertise. Pay, Contract, & Logistics: Detail Information Pay Rate £13.68 - £14.68 per hour (Highly competitive) Contract Temporary, Term Time Only Hours Full school hours (approx. 8:30am - 3:30pm) Commitment Seeking candidates available 3 to 5 days weekly Location Local schools across Fleetwood Protection Full Agency Worker Regulation (AWR) protection provided Who We're Looking For: We are searching for dedicated individuals who are committed to supporting diverse student populations and fostering inclusive education. Experience: Previous experience supporting children with a range of special educational needs is highly valued. Qualification/Pathway: You must hold a Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) OR be actively working towards one. Apprenticeship Opportunity: If you are seeking to gain your Level 3 qualification, we work directly with two local colleges to support your entry into an Apprenticeship pathway while you work.
