Manual Machinist

We are recruiting for a Manual Machinist to join a diverse manufacturing client based near Trafford Park. Successful candidates must be time-served or able to demonstrate a competency through experience to ensure that jobs are manufactured in accordance with supplied technical drawings and specifications. Candidates must have experience working with a range of manual machinery including Lathes, Millers and Radial Arm Drills Hours Monday to Thursday: 7:30-16:00 /Fridays: 7:30-13:00 All Overtime paid at Premium Rates after 37.5 hours The Ideal candidates will have : * Experience working within a machine shop environment machining of both fabricated and cast components to fine tolerances in either single or batch quantities and in a variety of steel grades. * The ability to read, understand and work to engineering drawings. overhead crane operating experience The ability to manipulate any of the following: * Manual Lathe Miller * Radial Arm Drill Candidate Skills * Ideally Time-served * Demonstrable experience operating a Manual Vertical Borer/ Lathe and Miller to tight tolerances.
