This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive team and play a vital role in maintaining continuity of learning when teachers are absent. About the Role: As a Cover Supervisor, youll step into the classroom to ensure lessons run smoothly in the absence of the regular teacher. Youll deliver pre-prepared work, keep students engaged, and maintain a positive learning environment across a variety of subjects. Anyone passionate about supporting young people and helping them succeed.Key Responsibilities: Supervise classes and deliver set work during teacher absence. Maintain a calm, focused atmosphere and manage behaviour effectively. Support students with their tasks and answer questions where possible. Provide feedback to teaching staff on lesson progress and student conduct. Uphold school policies and contribute to a positive learning culture.Contract Details: Location: Ringwood, Hampshire Position: Cover Supervisor Type of Work: Classroom Supervision Start Date: Immediate Contract Type: Temporary to Permanent Hours: Full-Time, Monday to Friday Pay: From £103 per dayRequirements: Right to work in the UK. Enhanced child barred list DBS certificate (or willingness to apply). Two professional child-related references. GCSEs in Maths and English at grade C or above (or equivalent). A degree is desirable but not essential. Strong communication and organisational skills.
