We invite you to join our team and apply your passion for teaching and learning! *Primary Duties and Responsibilities: * Adjunct Faculty instructors at College of DuPage are responsible for course planning and instruction in classroom, lab, or clinical settings, courses may be conducted in various delivery modes, such as, face-to-face, on-line, hybrid and/or blended formats. In addition, adjunct faculty are responsible for student evaluation, and timely and accurate submission of required paperwork related to instruction. *Required Qualifications*: * Minimum of a bachelor's degree AND two years professional aviation teaching experience; OR, have an associate degree, AND six years professional aviation teaching experience; OR, hold a Flight Instructor's Credential in the discipline area; OR, the equivalent is required. * All degrees must be from an accredited institution. * Have an equity-minded focus, responsiveness, and sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, gender identity, sexual orientation, and ethnic backgrounds of community college students, including those with physical or learning disabilities as it relates to differences in learning styles; and successfully foster and support an inclusive educational and employment environment. *NOTES: Applicants applying under the "equivalent" provision must attach details and explain how their academic preparation and/or professional experience is the equivalent of the degrees/minimum qualifications listed above. Ability to teach remotely with technology and experience in online or virtual teaching preferred. Access to personal technology, home computer with appropriate ability to teach online required.
