As a Chapter President, you’ll be responsible for launching and leading an on-campus Young Leaders in Finance (YLF) Chapter at your university. Establish Partnerships: Secure a Faculty Advisor and collaborate with university leadership.
Build the Foundation: Establish a timeline for registering your chapter as a Registered Student Organization (RSO).
Grow Membership: Drive recruitment and engagement through on-campus and digital outreach.
Launch & Promote: Create and maintain an official YLF chapter Instagram account with consistent posting.
Host Events: Plan and execute major on-campus events, including Welcome Night, a Community Service Event, and Induction.
Develop Leadership Skills: Participate in virtual trainings, mentorship meetings, and YLF conferences.
Manage Operations: Oversee chapter administration and ensure all program milestones are met.
Key Milestones for Advancement to Chapter President
Establish a timeline for RSO registration.
Secure a faculty advisor (if not already in place).
Recruit an Executive Board member.
Launch and maintain an active Instagram account.
Complete all YLF program milestones within the internship timeline.
Commitment
Approximately 5–7 hours per week dedicated to leadership and professional development.
Must attend YLF meetings, YLF on-campus sessions, and YLF virtual events.
Maximum of two absences permitted; all assignments must be completed.
Opportunity to continue as a Founding Chapter President following the internship.
Compensation & Perks
The total stipend for the internship is $1,300, structured as follows:
Completing the YLF Training Plan (self-paced modules, peer check-ins, training sessions), ($500): ensuring campus whitelisting and preparing to execute the invitation process.
Chapter Setup ($500): Registering as an official RSO, identifying an advisor (if not preassigned), and recruiting at least one E-board member.
Engagement & Leadership ($300): Meeting attendance and participation requirements (maximum of two absences, all assignments completed; no more than two excused absences permitted)
Additional benefits include:
Access to all Wall Street Prep Online Courses
Networking opportunities with finance professionals, faculty, and peers.
