Approved Electrician - Cambridge

Approved Electrician Cambridge Permanent | Monday Friday | 07:30 16:00 We are looking for an experienced Approved Electrician to join our client who is a well-established General Works team in Cambridge. Work is across sectors including Education, Healthcare, Commercial, Defence, and Research , servicing clients throughout Cambridgeshire and neighbouring counties. What youll do: Install, service, and repair a variety of electrical systems Carry out fault finding and modifications Test and inspect electrical installations, including producing Electrical Installation Condition Reports Work independently while representing the business professionally to clients What were looking for: Minimum 5 years post-apprenticeship experience in commercial or industrial electrical work Strong understanding of BS7671 , building regulations, and health & safety requirements Ability to work without supervision and use your initiative Full driving licence Essential Qualifications & Skills: NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation essential CSCS/ECS card eligibility essential (training can be provided) Desirable (training can be provided) 18th Edition certificate C&G 2391 or equivalent IPAF & PASMA SSSTS First Aid Salary: In line with the JIB Industrial Determination Overtime Pay: Time and a halffor the first 12 hours of overtime Double timeafter 12 hours Saturdays: Time and a half for the first 6 hours, then double time Sundays: Double time Why join us: Work with a well-established, professional team Exposure to a wide variety of projects and sectors Opportunities for training and career development If youre an experienced electrician looking for a stable, challenging role in Cambridge, wed love to hear from you.
