ABOUT THE ROLE If you want to work in a supportive team environment alongside passionate and talented individuals who have a genuine passion for the work that we do, then this could be the right role for you! As part of the Supporter Engagement team, working three days a week you will take responsibility for listening to and responding to supporter needs & queries. This role, through the provision of excellent supporter care, is critical in ensuring supporter retention, building loyalty and growing engagement. You will also be responsible for maintaining database information with accuracy and integrity, including investigating and implementing strategies for more effective data cleanliness. You will be a people person who loves helping our supporters and is comfortable providing support and supervision to our volunteers in our Supporter Engagement team. This role is ideal for a self motivated, driven individual. You take pride in your ability to provide exceptional customer service. You have an excellent phone manner, outstanding written communication and a generally positive attitude. You will not only be happy to go the 'extra mile', but you will find great joy in troubleshooting and finding solutions and getting things done! Ideally you will have experience working with databases or CRM systems and you may have previous experience in customer service or sales. ABOUT YOU Essential Knowledge, Skills and Experience: Aligned to the values of Baptist World Aid. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Advanced Microsoft Office skills. Demonstrated ability to work autonomously, employ initiative, prioritise tasks, and exercise discretion and a high level of confidentiality and meet deadlines. Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills; with ability to provide exceptional customer service to both internal and external stakeholders. Experience working with Not for profits will be well regarded.
