Who We’re Looking For We’re seeking a London-based Media Director to lead our media operations and strategy. This role requires a seasoned media leader who can drive insights-led planning, cross-channel innovation, and data-driven execution across both digital and offline platforms. You will oversee a team of Senior Analysts and Managers within the Paid Media division, ensuring operational excellence, talent development, and best-in-class client delivery. The ideal candidate combines deep social media buying expertise with strategic leadership, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. What You’ll Do Leadership & Strategy Lead and mentor a team of media professionals, fostering growth, collaboration, and a culture of curiosity and accountability. Develop and deliver insight-driven media and measurement strategies , spanning social, digital, and traditional channels. Act as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders, developing strong partnerships that drive long-term success. Partner cross-functionally with strategy, creative, and analytics teams to create cohesive, omnichannel marketing strategies. Operational & Executional Excellence Oversee campaign execution across social media, search, programmatic, and offline media , ensuring accuracy and innovation at every stage. Lead social media investment strategies and buying across major platforms (Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, X, Pinterest, Snapchat), maximizing ROI and audience engagement. Set up scalable workflows, clear communication processes, and operational standards to support seamless campaign delivery. Ensure client recommendations and presentations meet the highest strategic and creative standards. Operate as a “player-coach,” jumping into tactical execution when needed to maintain momentum and quality. Client & Partner Management Serve as a key contact for clients and platform partners, managing relationships with professionalism, empathy, and authority. Negotiate and manage high-value media deals across both digital and traditional environments. Continuously bring forward innovative ideas, emerging platform opportunities, and audience-first solutions. Collaborate with finance and operations teams to manage scope agreements, billing accuracy, and revenue tracking. Innovation & Continuous Improvement Champion a culture of social media innovation , testing new formats, tools, and targeting approaches. Identify and activate opportunities to improve media processes, data utilization, and campaign measurement. Stay ahead of platform updates, audience behaviors, and performance technologies to ensure clients benefit from cutting-edge strategies. Your Expertise Required Skills & Experience 6 years of experience in media planning and buying , with proven leadership in managing large-scale, multi-channel campaigns. Deep proficiency in social media buying across Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, X (Twitter), Pinterest, and other emerging platforms. Advanced expertise across biddable media (Meta, Google Search/YouTube/DV360, Programmatic Display/OLV, Publisher Direct). Strong understanding of offline media (TV, OOH, Print, Radio) and integrated brand communications. Fluency in analytics, attribution, and measurement systems (GA4/GA360, Adobe Analytics, MOAT, DoubleVerify, Nielsen, Neustar, etc.). Experience leading and developing teams of 6–8 media professionals, across social and broader digital specialisms. Strong presentation, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills, comfortable interfacing with C-level executives. Strategic thinker with the ability to balance creativity, analytical rigor, and operational discipline. Preferred Qualifications Experience managing regional or global brands with complex organizational structures. Proven track record leveraging emerging social and digital platforms to drive innovation and measurable business outcomes. Familiarity with the UK and EMEA media landscapes , including major publishers, social platforms, and buying frameworks. Experience with media forecasting, budget pacing, and revenue accountability.
