Title: Engineering Technician – Aseptic Filling (Shift: 4 on / 4 off) Location: Wales, UK Duration: Permanent Working Pattern: 4 Days on and 4 Days off Are you a mechanically minded Engineering Technician with experience in aseptic filling environments? This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting the production of life-changing sterile products. Role Overview: You’ll be responsible for maintaining and supporting the smooth running of aseptic production lines within Grade A, B, and C cleanroom areas. Working on a 4 on / 4 off shift pattern, you’ll ensure all engineering activities comply with cGMP and regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities: Perform size and component changeovers on washing, filling, and sealing machines for vial and ampoule production. Carry out day-to-day and scheduled preventative maintenance on sterile manufacturing equipment. Proactively identify and resolve engineering issues to minimise downtime and improve efficiency. Drive reliability and continuous improvement initiatives across the aseptic filling lines. Contribute ideas to enhance safety, equipment performance, and process efficiency. What You’ll Bring: Recognised Engineering Apprenticeship (multi-skilled preferred). Proven experience working in pharmaceutical Grade A–C cleanroom environments. Strong fault-finding, problem-solving, and communication skills. Good understanding of pharmaceutical engineering standards and regulatory expectations. Experience with reliability and continuous improvement principles. Proactive, ownership-driven attitude with a focus on quality and efficiency.
