To find out more about us visit: www.fpg.com.au About the Role Based at our Sydney Markets Head Office, this role is a key part of our Finance Team and as such is expected to be involved in multi facets of the organisation. The position will primarily be responsible for financial analysis and reporting to provide accurate, relevant and timely information to enable the business to make key operational and strategic decisions. Involving both management and financial accounting components, the key responsibilities will include: Business partnering with division heads to provide regular commercial insight and financial business performance analysis, including the preparation of key reporting tools Prepare and deliver weekly, monthly, and end-of-season performance reports. Provide in-depth analysis of key driver against budget and previous seasons Complete the month-end close process, including balance sheet reconciliations and preparation of monthly financial results for review with Commercial Directors Assist in the preparation of annual budgets Preparation of BAS returns, levy returns, royalties and other legislative requirements Assist the Financial Controller and wider team with other ad-hoc duties as required The Team We have a small Finance Team with large exposure across the business. The team comprises of graduates right through to experienced financial executives. With a great culture and vibrant team, you should expect a lot of laughs along the way. About you We are seeking an experienced Accountant with excellent verbal and written communication skills. The following are essential for success in this position: 3 years’ experience in a Commercial Finance role Commenced or recently completed CPA/CA (desirable) Strong computer, ERP and Microsoft Office (in particular Excel) skills High attention to detail Exposure to an FMCG environment (desirable) Exposure to Netsuite (desirable)
