About the Role An exciting opportunity has become available for a part-time Junior Graphic Designer to join our friendly and creative Communications and Engagement team. Reporting to the Senior Graphic Designer , the role is responsible for creating engaging graphic materials that meet team objectives and positively contribute to the City’s image. You will: Design and produce communication materials, including newsletters, brochures, posters, advertising and promotional items. Create digital artwork and video content for web and social media platforms. Develop and manage content calendars aligned with marketing strategies. Ensure brand consistency with the City’s Style Guide and assist with sub-brand management. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver high-quality design outcomes. Stay up to date with design trends and digital tools. What are we looking for? You’re a motivated graphic designer who enjoys collaboration, creativity and community-focused design. You’ll bring: Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Acrobat). Strong communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills. A Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Graphic Design (or related discipline). Experience in social media content creation, video editing and scheduling tools is desirable.
