Position Summary We are seeking applications from experienced Senior Engineer/Engineering Lead to complement our highly skilled design team. This is a permanent position based in our Jandakot Office. The Engineering Lead will be managing a group of design engineers and provide day-to-day leadership of all engineering related work including development and validation of equipment and machinery used in the offshore subsea oil well production business. Equipment and machinery include, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, piping and controls, and components such as pipeline terminations, control umbilical connection components, and specialty subsea products. Duties And Responsibilities Coordinate and supervise resources to provide engineering and technical support locally and to other offices within the APAC region. Manage multiple engineering and CapEx projects. Establish, maintain, and improve work processes, instructions, and procedures. Perform day to day calculations on rental equipment and systems. Make modifications to hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic logic. Review product design for compliance with engineering principles, applicable standards (ISO, API, and ANSI), contract requirements and related specifications. Ensure all designs are of compatible materials and components taking into consideration environmental requirements. Evaluate and approve design changes, specifications, and drawing releases. Conduct periodic review meetings with Project Managers or the Project Team. Supervisory Responsibilities This position supervises design engineers. Reporting Relationship Engineering Manager Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in engineering, or equivalent degree. At least 5 years of experience in Engineering, Subsea Projects including direct supervision experience. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, And Other Characteristics Ability to plan, organize and direct the work of others. Ability to encourage and facilitate cooperation, teamwork, and morale. Must have good multidiscipline knowledge. Knowledge of applicable regulations and standards. Effective verbal and written communication skills.
