In your role at Coledale Hospital, you will provide a high quality social work service to patients, clients, consumers and their family/carers to ensure the provision of optimal health outcomes consistent with ISLHD policies, procedures, standards, relevant legislation, and the NSW Health Code of Conduct. The Illawarra Hospital Group covers acute and sub-acute clinical settings across Coledale, Bulli, Wollongong, and Shellharbour Hospitals. This position has the possibility to rotate across clinical settings within these hospitals and across sites. Coledale Hospital, located on Dharawal Country, is a 38-bed facility specialising in aged care services for the northern Illawarra. The hospital cares for patients transitioning to residential aged care facilities, has a purpose-built unit for patients with a dementia illness awaiting nursing home placement, and is fully accredited by the Australian Council on Healthcare Standards. Located near the pristine Coledale Beach and surrounded by lush landscape, Coledale Hospital offers a beautiful backdrop to live and work.
