CAD Technician

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing engineering and transport consultancy working on a wide range of exciting projects from small residential developments to large mixed-use schemes. As a Junior CAD Technician, youll support the engineering team in producing high-quality drawings and designs for highways and drainage projects. Youll gain hands-on experience, learn from experienced engineers, and build your career in civil and infrastructure design. What Youll Be Doing Use AutoCAD to produce drawings and layouts for highway and drainage schemes Assist with the design of vehicle accesses, junctions, and visibility splays Carry out swept path analysis to check vehicle movements Update and revise drawings as designs develop Work closely with engineers and other members of the design team What Were Looking For Some experience using AutoCAD (college, university, or work experience) A basic understanding of highway or civil engineering design Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn Good communication skills and team spirit Organised, motivated, and able to manage your workload
