Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ED - Emergency Department Discipline: RN Start Date: 12/09/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - ER Job Details: • Work 3x12 hour shifts with 36 hours guaranteed per workweek • Every other weekend requirement • Patient ratio of 4:1 for days, nights, and weekends • At least 1 year of travel experience required • 2 years of nursing experience required • Level I or Level II trauma experience preferred • Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC • Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only) • Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays • Floating required - may float to nearby sister facilities as needed (rarely occurs) • 48 hours of orientation required • Care for patients of all age groups: neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, geriatrics • Work in 53-room emergency department with daily census of 150 • Skills include continuous IV sedation, triage, ventilated patients, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias • Experience with Cerner charting system preferred • Must complete 4-6 hours of pre-start modules (non-billable) • Two supervisor references required • License must be in hand prior to start date Facility: This major healthcare system operates a comprehensive trauma center providing emergency services to patients across all age groups.
