Trainee Mechanical Fitter (Workshop Based) £25,000 - £30,000 DOE Training Company Benefits Chichester, Hampshire Are you an aspiring Engineer who's recently completed a mechanical qualification (BTEC, TLevel, NVQ, HNC or HND) looking for a workshop-based role where you will be trained 1-on-1 by senior members of the team? Operating throughout Hampshire, they are looking for a Trainee Fitter based in Chichester to service, repair, and maintain a range of hire equipment. ill be part of a small team working on a variety of equipment at a time using hand and power tools to repair and service used tools and equipment ensuring everything is up to standards to go out to hire. This will include working on equipment and tools ranging from a 1.7 Tonne Excavator to Cherry Pickers, Water Plates, Air Compressors or Surveying Equipment. This position is ideal for someone who has recently completed a mechanical qualification such as a college or apprenticeship leaver who is looking for 1-on-1 training for a small but growing business. T he Role: Repair, clean and service a variety of hire tools and equipment Receive on-the-job training alongside a friendly, small team of workshop fitters Monday-Friday 7:30am-5:00pm, 42.5 hours per week.
