Gearbox Fitter Location : Fife, KY11 1HT Salary : £38,000 per annum Excellent Benefits! Lamond & Murray are now recruiting We are seeking an experienced Gearbox Fitter to join our dynamic team. As our Gearbox Fitter you will be responsible for: Involvement of day-to-day workshop in relation to quality, H&S and environmental activities. Dismantling of all types of gearboxes producing concise accurate reports for management Assembling gearboxes accurately so they are ready for installation Interpreting engineering data and documentation such as engineering drawings, technical data and computer-generated programmes Working under minimum supervision, taking responsibility for the quality and accuracy of the work, you undertake Being pro-active in finding solutions to problems and identifying areas for improving the business Ensuring standard work practices and procedures are being followed Responding to emergency situations In order to be successful in this role you must have: Apprenticeship in associated field or adequate experience Health & safety, environmental or quality training would an advantage but not essential Working knowledge of various types of gearboxes Ability to work to instruction and on own initiative Selecting and using a range of measuring and testing equipment to check components are to the required quality and accuracy Read and interpret engineering data To be able to demonstrate problem solving skills to solve and repair issues efficiently and effectively What We Offer: Being part of a successful, growing engineering group backed by a large multi-national organisation Join a supportive team that values accuracy, collaboration, and professional development Enjoy opportunities to grow your career in engineering, Work in an environment where your ideas and contributions really matter If you feel you have the skills and experience to be successful in this role then click on APPLY today!
