Job Description

You'llbe an experienced Senior Digital Project Manager, who will lead the end-to-end delivery of large-scale complex digital change. For our vacancy in Newcastle, you will be working on building robotics and automations to improve existing DWP processes. Ideally,youll have experience working on automation projects, leading development teams in activities that involve implementing robotics and AI technologies. For the vacancy in Birmingham, you will lead strategic projects to enhance DWPs Data Engineering capability. Youll drive improvements in recruitment, standards, community development, and data curation across Digital and Analytics. Experience managing digital projects and working with Data Engineering teams is strongly preferred. For the vacancies in Blackpool, Leeds, Manchester and Newcastle, you will be working on Projects related to Microsoft 365 Products and Services. For all posts: You'll lead the team to ensure project controls are in place, managing plans, risks, issues and dependencies to effective resolution. Youll lead the team in ensuring you manage appropriate governance and reporting to Digital Directors, communicating and taking ownership of resolving complex issues while influencing decisions that require board level approval. Youll manage a varied stakeholder environment, setting the pace for delivery and working with internal teams and/or external suppliers to deliver successfully. Youll manage team dynamics, coaching teams to improve flow, quality and ownership throughout the team. Dealing with conflict and help establish a positive team culture. Youll take responsibility for your own learning and development, especially in project management practice, digital frameworks and technologies in an increasingly agile environment, alongside coaching and mentoring your team and the wider delivery community to establish standards for processes and tools. Salary Information Pay for this role is from 57,946 to 68,205. Our offer to successful candidates will be based on an assessment of your skills and experience asdemonstratedat interview. Existing Civil Servants who gainpromotion will either move to the bottom of the grade pay scale or get a 10% increase to their current salary whichever would be the greater.
